Blanco y Blanco Arts is an unusual and beautiful space dedicated to the arts located about a 1/4 mile east of the Arts district of Ft. Lauderdale.  Blanco y Blanco Arts is appropriately named for its all-white environment including 30 foot ceilings, white flooring, wonderful  natural & track lighting, comfortable living room seating, a kitchen, spaces for resident artists to sleep, wall space for exhibitions, as well as enough area to hold classes and workshops for 15 artists at a time.

 

During much of the year informal painting classes are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.  These classes are a wonderful opportunity, in an       inspiring environment for any level of artist.  At these classes a little or a lot of
feedback on your work from from seasoned artists-teachers is available.               Other classes teaching specific mediums are also available throughout the year and will be announced periodically.

 

More serious level art workshops take place through out the year as well.  If you are an artist looking for a location to do your own workshop Blanco y Blanco Arts might be the space you want.  The studio has much of the equipment needed to host a workshop including easels, drop cloths, work tables, a kitchen, a utility sink and over night accommodations.

 

Art exhibitions are also a possibility at Blanco y Blanco Arts as the space offers great lighting, a sound system, and comfortable seating.  Exact specifications for hanging art work will need to be discussed based on exhibition needs.

 

Blanco y Blanco Arts is also a lovely location for an arts fund raiser.
